水曜（星期三）是一個星期裏最平凡的日子
旮旯是角落，不起眼的邊邊角角。
一開始創作的構思是要把天馬行空的獨特元素加進普通的日子裏，
讓平凡的時刻變得不平凡。
水曜旮旯繪圖的構思大部份來自晚上奇異的夢境，
還有日常生活面對的種種。
不走小清新，不走寫實，
這裏的風格更像是走進七十年代的馬戲團裏的感覺，
醜怪醜萌
層層曡曡，畫中有畫。
最大的特色就是每一幅圖都有自己背後的故事，
有些訴説的是病痛的來由，有些是快要走入歷史的傳統習俗，
有些是粵語成語的典故，有些是無厘頭的上班趣事，
有雜貨店有麵包車有土地公拿督公有霓虹燈
總有一幅是你的故事。
朋友曾説過
水曜旮旯的繪圖有點難抄襲 - 因爲沒人的腦洞像她那麽大開。
也就這句話，造就了今天水曜旮旯大膽的畫風。
 
A desperate call for attention to all uncommon things and thoughts.
“You’re weird” - To me, this phrase sounds like a greeting more than a comment.
Peculiar dreams have been with me ever since my childhood,
imagine walking into a circus in a kaleidoscope, neon lights with big billboards with tapirs,
yokai’s marching around with a crowd of vintage toys.
These dreams secretly seep into my mind and influence my train of thoughts,
giving me a different perspective to view things.
Being a daughter of a journalist and an author,
I was brought up in a safe environment for self expression,
and it happened through the tips of color pencils.
“Your art speaks a thousand stories” - Obsessed with the concept of maximalism,
Colors and different compositions are my ways of storytelling.
I tend to stuff each and every inch of the illustration with objects,
(ie my trademark- hairy legs),
at the same time every small frame carries a different message.
Core message - Being different isn’t daunting, it’s satisfying.
